We at OX RABBIT work so long and hard these days that the only thing fuelling our bodies is an on the go, constant supply of coffee and café treats. At this point we have such a huge list of Perth go-to spots that we figure it would be selfish not to share it.

So without further ado, here is the first instalment of a series in which we list ‘must-visit cafes’ in various Perth suburbs. This weeks’ chapter? The five must-visit cafes in the Perth City (CBD).

The Wolf Espresso

The Wolf Espresso is situated in the heart of Perth’s iconic Wolf Lane. It’s a great chilled out spot to meet friends or colleagues for some coffee and a healthy, on the go lunch. The Wolf Espresso has a really friendly bunch of staff that provide great service and good vibes every day. We love their focus on catering for balanced, healthy lifestyles and nothing says “balance” more than following a healthy Mango & Coconut Chai Pot with a chocolatey sweet treat. The Wolf Espresso offer a number of delicious cakes and muffins, including the famous OX RABBIT brownies!

If you haven’t yet checked this café out, it’s a must-visit when next in the CBD.

After months of construction, the new and improved Raine Square, located in the heart of Perth City’s shopping district, has opened. Amongst the exciting retail, dining and entertainment options, Voodoo Coffee stands out. Their unique décor inspired by the ancient Haitian religion of the same name, makes for an edgy atmosphere that’s perfect for grabbing a late-night coffee-fix. They offer up locally roasted blends every day until 10pm.

Lowdown Espresso

Lowdown Espresso is a dark and moody espresso bar great for both quick delicious coffees, as well as city meetings with clients or colleagues. This espresso bar is the perfect work café, with friendly service, a unique interior, and central location. Not to mention they also have a great selection of cakes, treats, and offer the heavenly OX RABBIT brownies. We hand deliver orders to Lowdown Espresso just so that we can get in a quick coffee as well.
